Emma joined Tes in 2020. She has a long and proven track-record in growing education businesses in high stakes assessment, publishing and EdTech in an international context. She has wide-ranging international and commercial experience across a variety of businesses with diverse operating and commercial models, having worked for the British Council, Pearson and Twig Education.

Emma is a leader of people and is passionate about building and developing high performing teams to deliver great services in education. Additionally, she started her career in China, has a strong understanding of the Chinese education market and speaks Chinese.
