About Clifton Lodge School
Clifton Lodge is a co-educational preparatory school for pupils aged 3-13 years. We are the only independent school in Ealing offering both boys and girls the opportunity to prepare for 11+ as well as Common Entrance at 13+.
The school has a Christian ethos, which combined with its broad curriculum gives pupils the knowledge, skills and moral foundations required for their future schools. We focus on small class sizes, with specialist subject teachers, introduced to lessons from Year 2.
Sport is played twice a week and there is a variety of music, art and drama available. Extensive free after school clubs are provided together with specialised clubs such as fencing. Nutritious, hot cooked school lunches are prepared on-site in partnership with Thomas Franks Ltd. Thomas Franks provide creative and delicious menus with a commitment to quality of service which focuses on a balanced diet, using fresh, locally sourced produce.
The school motto is Optime, ‘try always to do your best’. This provides a reminder to pupils and staff alike that no matter what they have achieved so far, they can always try to attain more in the future.
