Denefield School

Denefield School is an 11-18 academy in West Berkshire which provides secondary education for approximately 1,000 children and young people of both Reading and West Berkshire Local Authorities.

Denefield has a reputation for high academic standards, wide-ranging extracurricular opportunities and outstanding pastoral care, provided in a friendly and positive environment in which our students thrive. Our supportive approach enables everyone to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes required to be responsible, considerate and well-rounded individuals, adapted to the demands of our ever-changing multicultural society. With the help of our enthusiastic and committed staff, students are able to make the most of their abilities and interests, preparing them for the world of work and to play a full part in society.

Standards of behaviour and uniform are high and will continue to improve with the new procedures and guidance we have recently put in place.  We are very proud of the fact that Denefield students are polite, friendly, confident and articulate and we receive many positive comments about their conduct from employers, visitors to school and members of the public.
