Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a mixed, non-selective Church of England secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees, serving pupils from the age of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Fairfield has approximately 1,180 pupils on record. It is a member of The Dayspring Trust, along with Venerable Bede CE Academy in Sunderland.
Formerly Ian Ramsey Church of England Comprehensive School, Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy converted to academy status in 2014. The Stockton-on-Tees school moved into a new building in 2014, funded by the Government’s Priority Schools Rebuilding (PSB) programme.

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy’s vision is to provide students with an excellent education within a supportive and Christian community. The school nurtures students so that they realise their full potential and achieve to the highest of their ability, through the motto: “Soar to the Heights Together”. It wishes to provide pupils with a broad range of learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom in a stimulating and caring learning environment. Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy holds an Arstmark Silver.
