About Lincoln Minster School

Co-educational independent day/boarding school
3-18yrs, 650 on roll

Lincoln Minster School (LMS) is a vibrant and successful school, with close links to Lincoln Cathedral and in a wonderful location in central Lincoln. Recent inspections of its boarding and early years provision found the school’s work to be outstanding and we are continuing to invest in the school – through a new junior school building and a new boarding house in the last year (2014-15).

Formed in 1996 through the merger of three schools, Lincoln Minster School now has over 650 pupils aged 3 to 18, amongst whom Cathedral Choristers form a thriving constituency.

Lincoln Minster School is part of United Learning.

We are a group of schools which aims to provide excellent education to children and young people across the country. We seek to improve the life chances of all the children and young people we serve and make it our mission to bring out 'the best in everyone' – students, staff, parents and the wider community. Uniquely, our Group includes significant numbers of schools in both the public and the private sectors, working together for mutual benefit.
