About Stover School
Stover School is a mixed, all-through independent Church of England day and boarding school with sixth form, situated in Newton Abbot, Devon. There are approximately 369 pupis at the school, between the ages of 3-18.
Stover School was established in 1932 and currently remains on its original site. Originally, Stover School was a day and boarding school for girls between the ages of 11-18, but boys were admitted in 2002 and in 2012, it became fully co-educational. A nursery was opened in 1994. The school is continuously expanding, and in 2014, an all-weather sports dome and sports pavilion were opened in the boys’ boarding house.

Stover School wishes to celebrate, challenge and inspire pupils within a nurturing learning environment. The school wants students grow as confident, motivated individuals, who respect and care for those less fortunate than themselves. Stover School maintains a close partnership with the wider community and practices its Christian values throughout daily school life.
Pupils at Stover School are high achievers and the school’s mathematics team has won regional awards, while a large number pupils have received prizes across competitions in music, sports and drama.
