History and Ethos
The British International School of Marbella (BISM) is one of the leading international schools in Marbella offering contemporary British international education to students in Early Years, Primary and Secondary education. Since opening in 2010, BISM has become the school of choice for expatriate and Spanish parents looking to provide their children with highest levels of education.
The school forms part of The British Schools Foundation (BSF). We view character development as an essential part of our work. We rely on teachers with the experience to nurture independence of mind, resilience, and a caring disposition in our pupils.
Location and Facilities
In June 2020 the school moved into a brand new, state of the art campus in the Nagueles region of Marbella. A purpose built Foundation Stage Campus opens in August 2024.

Location
I have worked as a Foundation Stage teacher at BISM for four years. I can honestly say it is the most exciting place I have ever worked. The wonderful thing about working for BISM is that no day, week or year is ever the same. It is a dynamic and flexible working environment where the children’s needs and interests are put first. The great thing about working here is that the importance of having fun and becoming the best version of yourself is relevant to both children and staff.
