About The Brunts Academy

About The Evolve Trust and The Brunts Academy

The Evolve Trust is a small geographically local Trust with an unwavering commitment “To open minds, creating opportunities for all to believe in themselves, achieve their potential and develop the skills needed to succeed and enjoy life”.  An organisation which is driven by its values of AMBITION, INTEGRITY, INCLUSIVITY, ENDEAVOUR and RESILIENCE and these values are at the centre of all that we do.

The Brunts Academy, part of The Evolve Trust, have opportunities for creative and innovative teachers and associate staff who have the desire to work in a forward thinking Trust that is Nationally recognised for our practice.

We are proud of the success our students have achieved year on year at The Brunts Academy and, through our constant focus on teaching and learning, we will develop our students so that they have the intellectual habits, fundamental core values and qualities of character to succeed in the 21st century. We will do this by ensuring that:

• We develop and nurture the talent and interests of every individual.

• We have a scholastically excellent culture built around our core values of Ambition, Integrity, Inclusivity, Endeavour and Resilience.

• We deliver a curriculum that allows students to develop their knowledge and skills whilst achieving a range of qualifications.

• We provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for all.

We want everyone to be proud to be associated with The Evolve Trust and excel as a result of the high quality experiences and opportunities we provide.

Staff Development

Our Trust is unique with the combination of mainstream and special schools, enabling staff to benefit greatly from collaborative learning as well as the latest pedagogical research ensuring that the children and students in our care receive a first class education.

Academy staff and students work and learn together as our practice is continuously improved to bring about the changes required to deliver on our ambitious aims. As a Trust, we prioritise achievement and inclusion by valuing individuals. We meet these priorities by excelling in putting in place, for both students and staff, personalised learning pathways, which includes our Fellowship Programme in partnership with Nottingham Trent University and accredited pathways through our partnership with the National College of Teaching.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).
