About Whitehill Community Academy 3-11
In January 2024, Whitehill Community Academy joined Trinity Multi Academy Trust, becoming the eleventh school in the Trust and the third primary school. This offers our team at Whitehill Community Academy the opportunity to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals from across the Trust, including Trinity Institute of Education and West Yorkshire Maths Hub. The Trust is also home to White Rose Education.
Our Vision
At Whitehill Community Academy, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. We believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future, and we are dedicated to providing our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in life.
Our Values
At the heart of our school community are three core values:
- Ready: Our students are prepared for challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. They are eager to learn and develop their skills, and they are confident in their ability to succeed.
- Respectful: Our students treat each other with kindness, compassion, and understanding.
- Responsible: Our students take ownership of their actions and make positive choices.
Our Curriculum
We believe that a well-rounded education encompasses both academic and personal growth. Our curriculum is designed to promote the retention of key knowledge and this allows children to understand the world around them. We also foster their social, emotional, and physical well-being. We offer a variety of trips and clubs to further widen experiences beyond the classroom.
Our Community
Whitehill Community Academy is more than just a school; it is a vibrant community of learners and families. We value open communication and collaboration, and we work together to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all.
The working environment is supported by committed, hardworking and supportive colleagues who are focused on improving outcomes for our children. As an academy we have high expectations of staff and we expect staff to challenge our students and themselves. We set high standards and aim to display these in all that we do.
For anyone who is interested in joining our staff team and would like the opportunity to meet the Principal and / or visit our school, please email recruitment@whitehill.trinitymat.org.
