Board game lesson and scaffolding for y11 (bottom sets especially), preparation for the speaking exams. Get your classes to elaborate each cell and then let them play till the’ve learnt every bit by heart.
Have them to practice and extend more (if they have the ability to) or just keep it brief and basic (again, bottom sets especially). This whole lesson can easily last for 3 to 4 hours of class (depending on teacher pace and students’ ability).
This has been put together for FOUNDATION students but can be adapted to HIGHER with little effort.
