You take on the role of Alan Sugar in challenging a maximum of ten groups to decide on a range of tariffs and logos for two customer groups. Extra customers (and therefore profit) can be gained through good marketing as well as competitive pricing. As always, the group making the most profit wins! Only edit the yellow cells on the spreadsheet, if you do not have ten companies enter zero for the unused companies. Awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively to companies designing the most appealing and appropriate company image will automatically give them extra customers.

A nice functional skills project which pupils are sure to enjoy. Based on the Apprentice; an investigation into the variables of a mobile phone tariff which provides plenty of teacher and pupil support. Would be ideal for any KS3 group as a group activity.
