AQA GCSE KS4 Lang Paper 1 Question 2, Question 3 Sherlock Holmes Resident Patient

Trigger warning - one of the extract describes the body of a man who has been murdered and whose body is hanging to make it look as though his death was by suicide.

This was planned for a less able GCSE class (targets of 3) and the focus is on question 2 (language) and question 3 (structure). There is a model provided for question 2 and there’s a related writing activity to improve description.

This could be useful for first teaching and for revision of the key skills needed for paper 1, questions 2 and 3.
