I designed and delivered this lesson as part of a job interview demonstration — and it led to a successful offer.

The lesson introduces both 1D and 2D arrays (lists) from first principles. It is structured to build understanding progressively, starting with the concept of storing multiple values, moving to indexing and iteration, and then extending to two-dimensional data structures.

Students begin with simple list operations and gradually develop confidence working with nested lists, accessing elements, and applying them to real problem-solving tasks.

The focus is on:

Conceptual clarity

Logical thinking

Step-by-step skill development

Hands-on coding practice

The lesson is designed to make abstract data structures accessible and engaging for Year 9 learners.
