Pupils will be introduced to the concept of monotone through the work of Picasso. They will learn to make tints and tones with paint and/or coloured pencil and to use these in their piece based on the work of the expressionist artist Jawlensky. Three way differentiation will allow all pupils to work at their own level to achieve the objectives.
