This Cartoon Illustration worksheet is suited for KS3 and KS4 students. This worksheet can be delivered by a specialist or non-specialist as part of a cover lesson. The tasks focus on drawing a personalised Mr/Little Miss Character then drawing a front cover showing their character .
The following tasks are included:
Task 1: Replicate one of the four Mr Men/Little Miss characters in the blank box. Focus on the characters simplistic characteristics and features.
Task 2: Create your very own Mr Men/Little Miss character. This could reflect upon yourself or someone you know. When creating your character think about the characters name and key features. Draw your character in the ‘Task 2’ text box. This will become your book’s front cover.
Task 2 Extension: Write the name of your character too, use the same style font as shown on the examples below.
Examples have been included for students to use as inspiration.
