A vocabulary game based on the children’s game “Memory”
Aim of the lesson - To teach the vocabulary of Christmas in English and French, and have fun.
This lesson is useful for students of French at all levels, also for ESL learners with a French background, especially as a fun activity at Christmas time. It is based on the children’s game memory.

Instructions
Firstly, you need two sets of cards for each group of students. Print the cards in colour if possible, then use the image on page 6, or another suitable image for the back of the cards. Laminate your sets of cards, they will last much longer. Then cut out the cards and give two sets of cards to each group. The students should spread the cards out on the table upside down and shuffle them around. Then one of the group turns over two cards these are the starter cards there should always be two cards open in this way.
