Des vacances de rêve Studio GCSE Mod 5.1

A set of three lessons following ‘Des vacances de rêve Studio GCSE Higher French Module 5.1. Students are reminded of how to use je voudrais/j’aimerais at the start of the lessons then go on to be introduced to the conditional tense and si clauses. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain and practice the grammar, picture slides to drill new vocab, a differentiated translation translation and a speaking task with success criteria. A points reveal game is also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with a photo card task with student friendly criteria and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
