This resource is perfect to introduce students to the concept of characterisation within a drama and directs students to the techniques used by the writer. Students will explore 'concentrated' extracts of plays by Arthur Miller and Tennessee Williams. This is great for middle to higher ability KS3 students, in order to introduce them to dramatic terminology and rigorous analysis of stage-direction and writer's intent. Could span two 1 hour lessons if slower pace needed.
