Edexcel English Language Paper 1 Section A lesson for the NEW Edexcel 2.0 specification that explores19th century non-fiction and helps students to evaluate an extract from Text 2 and then create their own answers Q6 (evaluating a whole text). We then move on to reading a new text and exploring the use of language within it for Q3.

Additionally, the lesson is part of a series of resources that look at two 19th century non-fiction texts on the common theme of the treatment of children in Victorian Britain. Perfect for the new Edexcel 2.0 spec. We also begin a new topic with new texts on Victorian zoos and animals in captivity.
