The lesson starts off with an engaging started asking students to make links between Yoda and Maimonides.

(Maimonides was known as Yoda because in Hebrew it means the one who knows)

Students then watch a video on the man and do a quiz to check learning.

Next 20 minutes focused around the development of the Mishnah Torah and an pair activity looking at free will and the Mitzvot.

Final 20 mins ask students to apply their knowledge to a made up b) GCSE question structured around Edexcel but could be adapted for any spec.

Finishes off with a review of learning a plenary.

Great resource for anyone struggling with the new Judaism element of the GCSE.
