2. Spanish transcription - students to fill in the gaps as they watch.
3. English translation of the Spanish transcription - students fill it in with the help of www.wordreference.com rather than a translator.
I have trialled it with both high and low ability students from my Yr7 groups.
Quite engaging for students of this age, maybe even younger.
Relevant to the new curriculum since it includes gapfill and translation, plus is an authentic resource. It could tick the box for literature as it is narrated as a biographical story.
