This booklet contains the vocabulary from the 2026 AQA French specification, organised by theme and sub-topic. It includes all the vocabulary for foundation and higher tiers. There are blank spaces for each entry which pupils can use for self-quizzing.
This document is provided in word format so you can edit it as you require. For example, by creating separate documents for each unit topic, or branding it for your school.
I would recommend teaching explicit strategies for self-quizzing alongside this booklet, for example, using the look, say, cover, write, check method. It can be used to set homework, or for independent work for early-finishers in class.
