Idea behind this lesson was for pupils to work in groups, using the statements provided (Word Document), identify advantages and disadvantages of each type of family. statements can be used more than once. I finished the lesson of with looking at the function of a family through Maslow's Pyramid (on PowerPoint), pupils again worked in groups and wrote their ideas around a blank pyramid.
