This lesson is for the B6 - Inheritance and evolution module for the new AQA specification for exams in 2018. It contains a fully resourced lesson including a differentiation aid for weaker individuals, learning checkpoints, information, activities and is directly linked to the AQA guidelines. I have used this resources with a middle/high ability group but have also used it with a lower ability group in the pasts (just adapted my teaching but used the same resource). The lesson goes through all the key words including Homozygous, heterozygous, alleles, genes, phenotype, genotype etc. as well as begins to look at basic punnet squares.

Very good, but had to change the wizards slightly! Lily was a witch and some of the more harry potter savvy might get confused that she carries the dominant M (muggle gene) but isn't a muggle. Apart from that fab!
