Hi! I'm a secondary science teacher who's specialism is biology but teach all three sciences. I teach KS3 and 4 of all abilities and always teach from powerpoint. Every lesson I post in here I have planned myself and taught to at least one of my classes. Often I find that I am able to use the same powerpoint for various classes and just adapt my teaching and explanations to suit my class! Hopefully my lessons will cut your planning time! Please review them and let me know what you think of them

It contains a fully resourced lesson including a differentiation aid for weaker individuals, learning checkpoints, information, activities and is directly linked to the AQA guidelines. I have used this resources with a middle/high ability group but have also used it with a lower ability group in the pasts (just adapted my teaching but used the same resource). The lesson goes through all the key words including Homozygous, heterozygous, alleles, genes, phenotype, genotype etc. as well as begins to look at basic punnet squares.

Lessons include a recap lesson on the structure of the atom, development of the atom, alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation, hazards of radiation and half-lives. It is aimed at a high ability/mid ability group but could easily be adapted for a more low ability group to.

this is a fully resources SOW with lessons, activities and practical for electricity. There is a RAG slide with question numbers they have not been able to be attached to the SOW due to questions being from a specific book. This has been used with a high ability double science group.
