Sketchup Free is a totally free (no sign ups, credit cards, subscriptions) web based version of Sketchup. All you need is a computer and web-browser to use it.
I’ve been teaching Sketchup to school and college students for around 12 years and I use these handouts to teach my students the basics of it.
This is an easy to follow 26 page step- by-step guide that should take an hour to finish. Once completed the students should have all the basic skills to do their own designs. You could use it for a cover lesson.
