Hip hop structure lesson for English KS3. These resources are designed for an extra curricular club that helps to engage students in lyrics and therefore poetry. In this lesson we explore how structure in lyrics can engage listeners/audiences, and discuss what effects they can have, including the use of verses and refrains.
Could be used for before/lunchtime/after school clubs or edited to be used for lessons on poetry and figurative language.
