This is a unit of 10 x 1 hour lessons looking at human rights and justice. Originally planned for year but could be easily adapted for other year groups.

Lesson 4 to 5: Aims of punishment
Lesson 6 to 7: Death Penalty
Lesson 8: Sharia Law
Lesson 9 to 10: Christian views about justice

There is an accompanying student booklet which includes all student resources.

These lessons have been planned by an RE specialist for delivery by non-specialists and as such are easy to work through and contain additional notes (see notes section of PPT) for non-specialists as required.
