Key Stage 3 PE Assessment Grid

The assessment grid is designed as the basis of all PE lessons delivered across years 7,8 and 9. In order to fill the gap when curriculum levels were removed for PE, the grid gives a fluid and creative approach to assessment in key stage 3. The Grid is used as an on going profile card for each student allowing them to track and monitor progress in PE across the key stage. It is easy to use and creates the framework for all that is delivered in the department. The grid is simple and easy to use and allow teachers to have ownership about how themes are delivered.
