This is an assessment I planned for a unit of work on festivals for KS3 (please see lessons for this in my TES shop).
The assessment contains differentiated questions based on the following:
1. What festivals are.
2. How festivals are celebrated.
3. Similarities and differences between different festivals
This assessment would last 2 lessons as I have included 'planning sheets' for all pupils. These sheets are differentiated for the lower, middle and higher ability students and this is done in a 'chili challenge' style.
The question sheet doubles up as a marking grid and I highlight strengths and targets to help the students complete follow up work and DIRT time.
