This is a fun project where students can, either as individuals or as part of a group, practice some of the problem solving skills they have been learning in class in “real-life” scenarios.
In this project there is a particular emphasis on logical thinking and justification of decisions. This allows students to practice their cross-curricular literacy skills as well.
Some of the maths that will be used: percentages, ratio, fractions, logical reasoning, mean average and spotting trends.
The project was designed so that it could be completed online, but it would also work just as well (if not better) on paper.
