KS3 Python Programming - Lesson 1 Introduction to Python

This lesson introduces students to coding in Python using the online editor from www.replit.com

The lesson guides students how to sign up and (if the teacher provides it) join a class code link. As a teacher, you will need to create your own acount and then create a “Team” for your class to join, then generate a link for them.

I use Replit so that I can set online assignments, comment on their code live during the lesson and also give them projects to practice on at home. No need to download any software!

The lesson then moves on to basic print statements involving text strings and then integers.

Lesson 2 in the series looks at further output print statements, input statements and variables.
