Why teach this unit? (Intent):
Pupils will learn about mechanical systems and how to model a vending machine with control on movements. Pupils will firstly learn how to model an idea for testing and developing aesthetics. Secondly, pupils will learn about rapid prototyping to produce an outcome.
Sustainability is also covered in this project by integrating up-cycling features in the design of the vending machine.
