Interactive double lesson. Presentation, Activities and Worksheets.
Year 7 Spanish

Slides 2-11 are for quick (whole class) repetition of colours.
Slides 12-17 - practice and recall. (Which colour is missing?)
Slide 18 (if more practice necessary), otherwise move onto activity sheet (Activity 1: Writing - pupils fill in the colours in the correct spaces;
Activity 2: Speaking - ask 4 people in the class which is their favourite colour and complete table).
Slide 21: Verb - Tener (tengo, tienes, tiene)
Slides 22-33 PPP Animals and colours (whole class)
Slide 34 - Activity sheet - Writing exercise ¿Tienes Animales?

**Included** (Penultimate slide) Revision game: Tres en Raya.
Rules are similar to Connect 4 game. (Teacher may use IWB pen to draw a cross/circle (depending on team), or alternatively use the slide in the edit view and drag and drop the red and yellow counters). Divide class into 2 teams.
Team member nominates a person in the other team, asking, "¿Tienes Animales, [John]?" [John] answers with , " Si, tengo un/una….." and selects an animal on the board (may only select a square on the bottom row, or which already has a "counter" beneath it). [John] returns the question "¿Tienes Animales, [Anna]?" to the other team, nominating a new person. This way the game is 100% pupil-led.

First team to have 3 in a row wins the round. (Best of 3, 5, etc, depending on time.)

Included: Slide 36 Interactive feedback slide. Individual pupils are asked to choose a number, then answer the corresponding question.
