Capstone Project for the Complete Series (Parts One & Two Required)
A GCSE Drama devising extension pack designed to follow Obscure Theatre Practitioners & Devising Skills – Parts One & Two.
This four-lesson capstone project turns prior practitioner learning into an original devised performance, modelled on the Pearson Edexcel Component 1 process.
Part Three completes the Obscure Theatre Practitioners & Devising Skills trilogy — transforming exploration and application from earlier parts into a cohesive devising project.
Students revisit techniques from all six practitioners — Meyerhold, Grotowski, Kantor, Mnouchkine, Bausch, and Fo & Rame — and fuse them into an independent, GCSE-style devised performance.
Structured as a four-lesson mini-project, this pack aligns fully with Edexcel Component 1 (Devising) assessment objectives (AO1, AO2, AO4) and integrates the High Performance Learning framework for creative independence, collaboration, and reflection.
Ideal for schools already teaching Parts 1 & 2 or wanting to transition their KS3 Drama cohort toward GCSE devising readiness.
