This project has been designed to challenge pupils to develop optical illusions using line, shape and colour in exciting new ways. The scheme of work provides approximately 15-18 lessons comprising of five optical illusion activities and includes the opportunity to develop an optical illusion cube (final outcome). The lesson objectives are based on the national curriculum and the scheme provides many opportunities for differentiation by task. The scheme also utilizes key words from the GCSE Edexel specification to familiarise pupils with the assessment process earlier on.
