This is an absolutely brilliant lesson! It was perfect for my low ability year 10s (lv 2s at best). They were incredibly engaged and asked lots of questions - it made a tough topic really accessible for them with a really basic practical.<br /> <br /> My only advice would be to add a bit more about what a polymer is, I just used the simple paper clip demo where each student gets a paper clip making them a monomer then join them all together to form a polymer.
