Teach Python lists through eight structured activities that move from creating and printing simple lists to using indexes, list functions, methods, related lists, random choices and loops. Students practise sum(), min(), max(), len(), append(), remove(), sort() and random.choice() through practical tasks such as building an inventory, managing bus tickets and creating a report writer.

Each activity includes three levels of challenge, allowing students to begin with a small change before moving towards more independent programming. The detailed teacher presentation introduces each concept, explains likely difficulties, displays the starter code and provides complete sample answers for every challenge level.

A clear one-page student scaffold explains how lists work, including list syntax, zero-based indexes, changing items, useful functions, list methods, loops and common errors. It can be printed as a classroom reference or used to support students who need extra guidance.

  • Detailed Python lists teacher presentation
