This 27-page workbook is targeted towards beginner programmers who are learning to use Python. The Turtle module is a feature of Python that allows you to draw graphics on to the screen - and is a much more engaging way to teach coding than through the use of boring old text.

This package contains:

  • Links to 15 short and sharp video tutorials (all made by this author - they can be found on YouTube at - https://tinyurl.com/yyul3er8). The code is provided for teachers.
  • 17 practical activities to be completed by students. The code is provided for teachers.
  • Easy-to-understand theory notes about coding and Turtle concepts
  • An example assessment task

As mentioned above, all of the activity answers and completed code is supplied. The workbook is completely editable, so if some of the questions don’t suit your audience, simply go in and quickly change them.

Everything included in this package works on a range of operating systems and it is all completely free to use.

The Python editor I use in my videos is Mu - get it free at https://codewith.mu/

This package would be ideal for ICT teachers and those with students doing home learning.
