A total of 6 sets of reading comprehension packs containing comprehension questions, differentiated worksheets, beginning to write a playscript, grammar and word level work using the short story texts. \- All stories are presented on PowerPoint for whole class shared reading and activities \- Grammar focus - e.g. verb agreement, present, past and future tenses \- Sentence work - e.g. ull stops, capital letters, inverted commas, question marks, exclamation marks \- Word level work - e.g. compound words, adjectives, adverbs. \- Creative writing - featured texts encourages children to write their own ending to a story or create their own. Have a look at the individual packs for more information. Use each one throughout the year as your class progress.
