Revision companion booklet for the topic of Islam: beliefs (AQA paper 1)

This booklet is designed to be used in conjunction with other resources. The booklet has areas to be filled in and completed and also contains various activities. It is not designed to give pupils the information but rather for them to gather the information from else where and record it within this booklet.

Within my own teaching, I have found these particularly useful with low learners or pupils who do not know how to begin revising. However, all students seem to enjoy them as a starting point for revision. The activities are geared toward the AQA Islam beliefs unit. It should be noted that some reference is made to PEEL (point, evidence, explain, link) as is this is how we teach our pupils to structure their paragraphs and these booklets were originally made for personal use. I have tried to ensure that these activities are contained on their own page and so can be left out when printing.

Please note that these are all hand drawn and are my own work for this reason they are not perfect (they are not supposed to be) not all lines are straight for example. They take many hours to make but even more hours to get them share-ready. Feedback is welcomed but please be kind, and keep your purchased copy for distribution amongst pupils within your own school.

I plan on doing one of these booklets for each of these four themes: Relationships and families, Crime and Punishment, Peace and Conflict, Religion and life. I also plan on doing one for Islam practices and Christian beliefs and finally one for Christian practices. Please keep checking back for these as I will upload them when they have been created. Commissions for subjects/ topics that I do not personally teach will be taken but for creation over the summer holidays!
