James and the Giant Peach: Story Grammar

Story Grammar helps learners with challenges to reading comprehension. Students read through the passage and highlight the characters, setting, problem, feeling and resolution references within the texts.

Comprehensive questions can then be created using appropriate categories from story grammar. Learners know that in a ‘character’ question, the answer will be located within the corresponding highlighted passage.

To assist learners in identifying the correct passages. Definition of the categories could first be matched.
