Learners play in pairs to try connect four in a row. Take it in turns when pupil x chooses a question both pupils do it in their book. Pupil x puts his name on that square then pupil y chooses a sum. We use all types of colourful post it notes and then display around the room. Occasionally we complete in pairs as a poster.
