5 Spanish lessons teaching students Spanish grammar basics. Lessons include: gender agreement, opinions, adjectives and conjunctives.

Lesson 1: Masculine vs Feminine (Identifying the difference between masculine and feminine nouns and learning how to say a range of animals in Spanish).
Lesson 2: Colours (How to match the adjective to the noun and how to say colours in Spanish).
Lesson 3: Giving opinions on Spanish foods (How to say different foods in Spanish & how to say ‘I like’ and ‘I dislike’ in Spanish to give an opinion on the food).
Lesson 4: Adjectives (How to justify why you like or dislike a certain type of food, adjectival agreements, how to use ‘porque’ and the difference between ‘es’ and ‘son’.
Lesson 5: Conjunctives ( how to use connectives in Spanish sentences and unscramble the sentence so it makes sense).

All lessons are on PowerPoint and are accompanied by Microsoft Word Vocabulary print outs.

Games to play when pictures of newly learned vocabulary are all on a slide:

Teacher vs Students. (Teacher points to the picture and say it in Spanish and students repeat. However, if the teacher points at a picture but says the WRONG word, students must stay silent. If students do not repeat they receive a point but if they do repeat, the teacher gets the point).

Tap the board. (Two students stand at the board with all the new vocabulary (pictures) on the slide. Another student says one of the things on the board in Spanish. First person to point to it wins and stays on, the loser switches with the person who said the Spanish word).
