Each slide contains an expression, an example of how to use it (related to GCSE topics) and a picture for pupils to try to guess its meaning. The translation of the expression also pops up.
These slides can be used as displays or in the lesson to challenge higher ability pupils and encourage them to use higher level language in their writing or speaking work.
