Lesson and vocabulary sheet based on the new Viva GCSE AQA Spanish textbook - Module 2 Mi vida en el insti - ¿Qué tal los estudios? This unit covers school subjects, teachers, comparatives and superlatives.
The lesson includes exercises from the textbook alongside some activities that I have also added - explanation of comparatives and superlatives with exercises for practice, spontaneous speech task, antonym activity and a dice game for recapping the unit.
There is a PowerPoint which has descriptions and timings of each activity under each slide - it is all set up so that you can just open it and teach.
Included is also a vocabulary match up sheet so that students can refer to this throughout the lesson for support.
Also included is an activity for matching up antonyms as these feature in the unit and are also useful for knowing in preparation for exams.
I have created a dice game plenary that recaps the vocabulary from the lesson whilst also getting students to verbally and spontaneously translate words/phrases from the unit.
Our lessons our 100 minutes long so there is a lot of content in the PowerPoint - possibly enough for two hour long lessons.
