A collection of resources for Unit 1 (Changing Awareness of Crime) - AC1.1 & AC1.2 for the WJEC Level 3 Applied Certificate/Diploma in Criminology. These resources contain Powerpoint presentations and activities including embedded video and separate tasks.

AC1.1 - Analyse different types of crime - This first criterion covers the most unreported crimes in England and Wales, including Domestic Abuse, Hate Crime, Honour Crime, White Collar Crime, Moral Crime and State Crime.

AC1.2 - Explain the reasons that certain crimes are unreported - This second criterion is explored after each crime, with group discussions and debates on the reasons why each of the above crimes are often left unreported by their victims.

The lessons contained herein are intended to cover the first 8 weeks of Unit 1, with a wide variety of activities, videos, Kahoot (also created by the author), and debate.
