A final collection of resources for Unit 1 (Changing Awareness of Crime) - AC2.1, 2.2 and preparations for AC3 for the WJEC Level 3 Applied Certificate/Diploma in Criminology. These resources contain Powerpoint presentations and activities including embedded video and separate tasks.

AC2.1 - Compare campaigns for change & AC2.2 - Evaluate the effectiveness of media used in campaigns for change - an in-depth presentation and research project into the various causes and campaigns in the UK and aboard. In particular, these campaigns will include those looking to change policies, laws, funding, priorities of services/agencies or to simply raise awareness. With each, the forms of media that are used are discussed and their effectiveness challenged.

AC3.1, 3.2 & 3.3 - Plan a campaign for change relating to crime, Design materials for use in campaigning for change and Justify a campaign for change - a detailed guide for groups preparing for their exam. This presentation offers as much guidance and support as possible for the campaigns that learners can create in their exam.

The lessons contained herein are intended to cover the final 3 weeks of Unit 1, with a wide variety of activities, exam preparation, and discussion.
