Excellent beginning resource and activity to any portraits topic, or as an ice breaker to year eight pupils into art, to encourage them to loosen up and have fun with the art work and to understand that there are no right or wrong answers in art & design.

Super for World Art Day activity 15th April, and have also used this in a teacher workshop which was lots of fun!

Fun for all ages I have used this lesson with all ages from primary to adults in workshop settings!

Pupils are asked to take the role of a model and an artist and to draw a portrait of both with their drawing hand and non drawing hand.

Full directions for activity are included as well as a frame fro drawing hand and non drawing hand and a link to Albert Einsteins quote, ‘Creativity is Intelligence having fun!’

Included is two editable banners for display which can be used to explain the activity on display.
Also included is a fun colouring page with Albert Einsteins quote.
