Year 2 Visual Maths | 20 Simple Sessions

Twenty short Year 2 maths support sessions with picture prompts, simple instructions, answers and reusable maths mats.

Each pupil page has two questions and plenty of working space. Pupils can count, point, draw, use counters or tell an adult. All text is black Playwrite US Modern cursive.

Use for short interventions, supported morning work or small-group practice. Most number tasks stay within 20. Read the instructions aloud or model an example when needed.

This pack revisits selected Year 1 foundations for pupils working towards Year 2 skills. It is not a complete Year 2 curriculum or a SATs practice paper. The three PDFs are fixed, with fonts embedded. Print at A4. Length tasks use drawn units rather than centimetres; money pictures show labelled values rather than realistic coins.
